    These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by The School for Rūpānugas ("we", "us", "our"), an educational initiative of ISKCON devotees based in Vṛndāvana, India, and a recognised exam centre of the ISKCON Ministry of Education. By accessing this website, enrolling in a course, booking a yātrā, or purchasing an item from our shop, you agree to these Terms.

    1. Our Services

    We offer thematic courses in Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava philosophy and practice, guided yātrās, and related devotional educational material and merchandise, delivered online and, where noted, in person. Course content, schedules, faculty and fees are as described on the relevant course page at the time of enrollment and may be updated for future batches.

    2. Enrollment & Eligibility

    Courses are open to sincere students as described on each course page. Some courses are intended for children and require a parent or guardian to complete enrollment and consent on the child's behalf. Information you provide during enrollment must be accurate and current.

    3. Fees & Payment

    Course fees, yātrā prices and shop item prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are payable through our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials — these are handled entirely by Razorpay's secure payment infrastructure. A seat, booking or order is confirmed only once payment is successfully processed.

    4. Cancellations & Refunds

    Refunds for courses, yātrās and shop purchases are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

    5. Conduct

    We ask all students and participants to engage respectfully with faculty and fellow students. We reserve the right to remove a participant from a course or yātrā, without refund, in cases of serious misconduct, harassment, or repeated disruption of classes.

    6. Intellectual Property

    Course material, recordings, curricula, and content on this website are the intellectual property of The School for Rūpānugas or its faculty and licensors, provided for your personal educational use. Recorded sessions and materials may not be redistributed, resold, or published elsewhere without our written permission.

    7. Changes to Courses & Yātrās

    We make every effort to run courses and yātrās as scheduled. Occasionally a batch, faculty member, date or itinerary may need to change due to circumstances beyond our control; where this happens we will inform enrolled students as early as possible and offer a rescheduling option or refund per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

    8. Limitation of Liability

    To the extent permitted by law, The School for Rūpānugas is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our courses, yātrās, website or shop items. Yātrā participation involves travel and physical activity undertaken at the participant's own discretion and risk.

    9. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Mathurā, Uttar Pradesh.

    10. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

    The School for Rūpānugas ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it is used and protected.

    1. Information We Collect

    When you enroll in a course, book a yātrā, place a shop order, or contact us, we may collect: your name, date of birth, gender, email address, phone number, postal address, ID proof details (where a course requires it for certification), and details of your enquiry or order. We do not collect or store your card, UPI or net-banking details — these are entered directly with our payment partner, Razorpay, and never pass through our servers.

    2. How We Use Your Information

    We use this information to process enrollments and orders, communicate with you about courses and yātrās, issue certificates, respond to enquiries, and improve our offerings. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

    3. Third-Party Services

    We use the following third-party services to operate this website: Razorpay for secure payment processing, Netlify for website hosting and backend infrastructure, and Google Fonts for typography. Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this website.

    4. Data Security

    Enrollment and order information is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure. Our admin systems are password-protected, and all traffic to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Payment transactions are handled entirely within Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant systems.

    5. Data Retention

    We retain enrollment, order and enquiry records for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain academic/certification records, and meet legal or accounting requirements.

    6. Your Rights

    You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by writing to helpdeskschoolofrupanugas@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any records we're required to retain by law.

    7. Children's Information

    Some of our courses (such as Little Rūpānugas) are designed for children. In these cases, we collect information about the child only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian, who completes enrollment on the child's behalf.

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.

    Course & Yātrā Fees

    • If you cancel your enrollment before the course or yātrā start date, we will refund 80% of the fee paid. The remaining 20% covers payment gateway charges, transaction reversal costs and administrative processing that are incurred regardless of cancellation.
    • Once a course or yātrā has started, fees are non-refundable, as seats, faculty time and (for yātrās) travel/logistics commitments have already been made on your behalf.
    • At our discretion, we may offer a seat transfer to a future batch instead of a refund, particularly where a course has already begun.
    • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval.

    Shop Items (Turban Kits, Books, etc.)

    • Physical items sold through our Resources shop are not eligible for return or refund once delivered, except where the item arrives damaged in transit.
    • If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging, and we will arrange a free replacement. We do not offer cash refunds for shop items — only like-for-like replacement in verified transit-damage cases.
    • Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery, as claims raised after 48 hours cannot be honoured.

    How to Request a Refund or Replacement

    Write to helpdeskschoolofrupanugas@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp with your name, the course/yātrā/order in question, and (for payments) your payment ID or order reference. We will confirm eligibility and next steps within 1–2 business days.

    Cancellations Initiated by Us

    If we cancel a course, yātrā or order for any reason on our end, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid, regardless of timing.

    This policy applies to physical items purchased through our Resources shop (turban-tying kits, printed handbooks, and similar materials). Courses, yātrās and digital resources are delivered online and are not covered by this policy.

    Where We Ship

    We currently ship within India only, via standard courier services.

    Delivery Timeframes

    Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 business days of payment confirmation, and delivered within 5–10 business days thereafter, depending on your location. Delivery to remote areas may take longer.

    Shipping Charges

    Any shipping charges applicable to your order will be shown at checkout, or communicated to you before dispatch.

    Order Updates

    We share order and dispatch updates directly over WhatsApp using the phone number you provide at checkout. If you haven't received an update on a placed order, please reach out and we'll check the status for you.

    Damaged or Missing Deliveries

    If your order arrives damaged or a delivery appears lost in transit, please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how we resolve this.
